By base definition, frame is a measurement of how many unique consecutive images occur in a second. Girls Frontline runs in 30 frames per second. Gameplay-wise this is an important measurement used as it is used for tasks such as gathering how many attacks can be done per how many frames depending on their rate of fire, or calculating on what frame certain attacks are launched as basic examples. A chart can be found here which lists RoF in comparison to frames and attacks.
